Hospice

Deciding on Hospice

Nurses On Wheels Inc. Hospice provides palliative and symptom management nursing care in the comfort of the patient’s home. When the need for Hospice services arise, the care will be initiated with an order from the physician. The initial order may be obtained by calling our agency directly, or by going through your physician and placing a request for our services. The agency will receive specific orders from the physician for the patient’s Hospice needs and will keep the physician updated on the patient. The patient will be evaluated and a Plan of Care will be established to meet every aspect of patient palliative care. Hospice care services will begin immediately upon admission.
